Taj Mahal Cenote...

This is a great picture Ed took of me while we were diving the Taj Mahal cenote. This Cenote is about 30 min south of Playa Del Carmen. Then another 30-45 minute drive through the Mexican Jungle, down the worst dirt road ever. Diving the cenotes is like walking through a cave... but underwater, very surreal!

Change can be hard...:)

Going from this...

To this...

well it's a bit of an adjustment to say the least. Yesterday the temperature in Chicago was ZERO with a windchill of -30. Thats right, I said -30... painful! Today it has been snowing for the last 8 hours and does not look like it will stop any time soon. My computer broke down on the second day of our trip... there are no Apple stores in Mexico, and the issue was beyond help-line support. Upon our return she spent a few days at the Apple store and is now good as new. We are all back up and running, frozen... but working. More Mexico picture coming soon:)

Austin, TX... part I

Last week I was invited to come visit some friends in TX... so I got a last minute flight, packed my bags (camera bags) and took off heading toward the land of sun. Chicago was dark, gloomy, raining, snowing and 29 when I left. I landed in Austin... sunny, 70, great food, wine and company.

Meet Sonia... the newest member of the family!
...and Eli...
...and Cole...

I forgot how much fun it is to jump on a trampoline:)
Eli doing a 'flying-knee-jump' on Cindy...
we even played the 'popcorn' game... this is Eli waiting to be 'popped'
Sonia got to chill in Lydia's sling... I wish I could be half that comfortable when I sleep.
Cole has mad jumping skills... here are a few of him in action.

then of course we had to play hide-and-seek... some one was peeking...
Oh... and Cindy can do some amazing flips on the tramp (when she had it all to herself). You can see by the looks on their face, she is good.
and more hide-and-seek... Mom (Lydia) was helping with the counting.

Heidi...

Heidi is the owner of Body Chemistri.
She can work wonders with perfume. Currently she is working on four fabulous new fragrances  that will soon be distributed to a store near you. In the process of creating a new website, Heidi wanted some new pictures for her bio page. We got really lucky to have such a nice day to shoot, this time of year in Chicago... you never know what your going to get!
