It's hard for Honey to understand why there are SOOO many toys in the house that she can not play with... but she doesn't seem to hold it against the kid:)

Alexx is the cutest 'almost' 4 year old I've ever met... and I'm not sure where she learned her moves but she's an AWESOME dancer.:)

the first snow...

Honey always has fun after the first snow storm... every year she get SO excited it's like her first time all over again!

back home...

returning from Michigan, Honey has slept for 24 hours! I'd love to know what her doggy dreams are...:)

Sadie...

Sadie is 13 months old... and if I had 1/10th of her energy... I would never need caffeine! She is also the first dog I have ever met with a dimple on her nose:)

Equity at 5 months...

I met Equity, and her mom Dierdre, about a month ago at a park while I was waiting for someone else. I was SOOO happy when Dierdre contacted me recently to do a puppy session. Equity's eyes were super green the first time I met her... in a very short time they have changed to a golden yellow! I love this little pup and hope to see them both again soon:)

Last week I had the privalege to work with the lovely and talented ladies of Not Quite Coy Productions... Meet Stephanie and Lindsay!

Shannon and Ellie picked a new park for us to play in. Ellie is getting SO big and is WAY better at 'retrieving' than Honey... she also does a ton more tricks... but they both 'shake' so when Shannon would give Ellie the command to 'shake' they would both put their paws in her hand...:) Honey was totally into Ellies treats:)

Calumet Harbor & River...

The other day I was able to go with Ed to take one of the boats he Captains out of the water. Calumet Harbor is about 11 miles south of the city. I always drive over the river on my way back and forth from Michigan... it's way better on a boat! The boat was tall enough that they had to lift a few bridges. Cool!!! This is also where they keep some of the salt used in the winter for our roadways. Illinois Department of Transportation alone uses 140,000 tons of sodium chloride in an average winter! Check out the salt mountain....

Halloween...

Last night Invision had a Halloween party filled with all sorts of entertainment including an awesome belly dancer and a theremin!

Honey's new toy....

After many 'happy dances' and ripping out all the stuffing... she eventually falls asleep with it in her mouth:)

This summer I donated a pet photo session to PAWs silent auction for their annual beach party. I was really excited to meet the winners and even more excited that everyone in the family was up for having their picture taken. I'm sure I'll be seeing more of Lindsay and Chris as they do a lot of volunteer work with PAWs and are going to help me find a way to give more as well!
