Brett's house...

I spent the last few days in eastern Michigan with my family for my Uncle's funeral. Although under strained circumstances... I got to see tons of family and spend lots of time with my cousin's... not something that happens very often. Today I'm at my little brother Brett's house. I miss Honey (she stayed in Chicago) but I have Remington and Spooky Dave (his wife's cat) to keep me company. I woke up with Spooky curled up by my legs and Remi spooning my side...:)

I've spent the last week helping my brother and his wife paint the interior of their new house that is nestled on 10 acres of wooded land in Newaygo, MI! No Internet, and barely any cell phone service... I have a lot to catch up on!

last night...

I assisted a photographer for a wedding in St. Charles, IL. The wedding, and reception, were both held in the back yard of the brides parents house. The tent was the best... because the sides were clear so it felt like you were in a fairy tale, in the middle of the woods, with tons of twinkling lights, free flowing booze, and awesome music!

Ed's good friend got married this past weekend and although I was not their photographer I had a great time taking pictures. I've never been to a wedding with SO many cute kids!

Honey got a chance to do some boating. She had SO much fun swimming, tubing , and relaxing. We had SO much fun watching her. Shelly is the other person in the pictures... she is Honey's second mom! There will be more picture soon from the underwater camera...
