Angela & Jason... New Buffalo, MI

Most of the time, on a given wedding weekend, nothing important will happen without the bride and groom. Apparently that is not true! Angela and Jason were the last ones to show up at the church for rehearsal. None of their friends, or family, were surprised that they were late... but it didn't phase the priest, he started with out them! It was supper funny when they finally walked in (only a few minutes late). It was a great way to start the weekend with big laughs.
Angela's mother and grandmother were both married in the same church... something tells me they were on time for their rehearsals:) Click here to see more images.

Angela & Jason!

Any wedding celebration that starts with fajita specials and margaritas... has to be good!

PAWS... 6th Annual Beach Party!

I normally donate a pet session to PAWS, for their silent auction... but this year they asked if I would photograph the event:) They had a live auction, a silent auction, an amazing spread of food, great music and company, as well as a few adorable dogs up for adoption. Here are a few photos of the furry friends that attended a great night at Castaways. To check out a slide show click here.
Doggy Ice Cream was a BIG hit... it was supper hot and humid that night!

Montel & Eric... Holland, MI

The festivities took place at the Felt Mansion. It rained all morning, then cleared up beautifully in the afternoon. Montel and her girls will be moving from Michigan, to Mississippi,  joining Eric to start a new journey as a family. Needless to say her family and friends are happy she found her love, and sad to see her go. There were more toasts than I can count, lots of tears and laughter! You can see the slideshow here.

Montel & Eric... the day before

While everyone was busy preparing for the wedding, the kids were very busy having fun!

Amanda & Robert... Evanston, IL

Amanda is a designer at Blueprint Design Group, so every detail of the day was taken care of by her! I loved the backyard setting, many shades of blue, and family participation. Her brother and brother-in-law took care of the music... and it was awesome! The dinner was catered by Smoque, which is now my favorite bbq place in Chicago. Of course being on the weekend of July 4th, we had to play with sparklers! You can see more here!

The mini-gator...

This is the first plush toy to 'make it' more than 24 hours. Honey loves to tear up her toys as soon as she gets them... not sure what is so special about the mini-gator but I'm happy he's still around!
